Why we do not use page builders
A page builder ships the code for every layout it could produce, whether you use it or not. That is how a five-page business site ends up loading two megabytes of JavaScript to show a phone number.
Hand-built pages ship only what is on them. It is the single biggest lever on how fast a small business site feels, and it is decided before any design work starts.
